FAQs

What exactly is a shared transfer?

It’s a seat at a lower cost on a minibus sharing with other passengers of which there could be 8 (MAX)

What are the best times to book a flight for if I want to organise a shared transfer?

Arrivals – before 18:00 is higher volumes.  Very rarely will we have anything after 19:30.

Departures –from 11:00 as you are counting backward to leave resort approx 5 hours prior.  Therefore  06:00 is the pick up.   Never will we have shared seats for a flight departing Geneva at 10:00 or earlier.

Should I book my flight first or my shared transfer?

Very good question! If you can be flexible we advise to check what shared transfers are available first and then book your transfer afterwards.  Especially if you want the saving!

My flight arrives 20 minutes before the shared shuttle departs, will I make it?

Unfortunately you probably won’t. We recommend that your flight arrives 1 hour before the shuttle departs the airport.

How much time should I allow for my departure flight?

The journey could take up to 3 hours approx.  So if your flight is at 12:00, and you need to be there for 10:00, departure from resort should be no later than approx 07:00.

How many pick up or drop off point will there be?

There could be 8 but this is very rare. Usually 4 is the average.

How long does a shared transfer take?

Approx 45 min longer than a private transfer as it is not direct. It depends on the the number of stops on the way.

Are they designated drop off or pick up points?

The service is door to door which is pretty handy!

However sometimes if we are starting off at one end of the Valley we may ask you to meet in a central location, i.e. Mottaret – meet at Chaudanne.

Or sometimes if we have lots of stops in Courchevel and running out of time you can jump on in Brides on our way through.

What Resorts does the shared shuttle operate in?

Resorts include only Meribel or Courchevel Valleys but we can drop off / pick up in Moutiers for clients who need to go in a differect direction, i.e. Val Thorens or Tignes or La Plagne.

Why must there be a minimum of 2 passengers some of the times?

THE LAW – Transfer Companies have a different operating licenses to taxi companies and therefore unless our driver has a VTC (which 2 of ours do have) it is illegal to transport only one passenger in our minibus.

What if my flight is delayed?

The shared transfer service is a little like a bus or train that will have other passengers on board, hence it’s on a schedule. A little delay is fine, i.e. approx 20 min, however if longer we unfortunately are unable to wait.

If we have a later shuttle available with space it might be possible to jump in at no charge as long as it’s with Snowbound.

If we are not available we will try our best to find an alternative with a partner however this will be at a cost.

Will I be refunded if I miss the shuttle?

Shared transfers are unfortunately non refundable as we cannot be liable for delayed flights.

However we will try our best to find an alternative solution for you.

What if my time or date is not on the list posted here or on your Facebook page?
