About Grenoble International Airport

Grenoble-Isère Airport or Aéroport de Grenoble-Isère, is an airport serving Grenoble which is situated 2.5 km north-northwest of Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs and 40 km northwest of Grenoble. Formerly known as Grenoble – Saint-Geoirs Airport, the appellation, Isere, refers to the department of Isère.

Located in the centre of the Rhone-Alpes region, Grenoble-Isere Airport is an international airport that handles nearly 400,000 passengers every year. The airport hosts multiple airlines,  covering the area of France and many destinations across Europe. In 2002, the airport opened a new terminal, expanding their passenger capacity and accessibility to new destinations.

Grenoble is located at the base of the mountains and is strategically placed for ease of access to the Belledonne, Oisans, Chartreuse and Vercors mountains. The city hosted the Winter Olympics back in 1968 is now home to young, vibrant student population and is a significant science and research hub for the country. Total of 8 passengers in the minibuses.   If you are more passengers no problem as we just send 2 vehicles.

Can We Add In Passengers After We Book?

Yes no problem,  as long as we have availability.  However you have to let us know in advance to ensure that the correct vehicle is booked in and available.

Is The Minibus Big Enough For All Our Ski Luggage As Well As Us?

Yes all our minibus’s, which are new every year, are an extra long wheel base and can seat up to 8 passengers with luggage and even ski’s.

Will Our Transfer Drop Us At Our Accommodation?

Yes, all our transfer’s are door to door – snow & access permitting, . This also includes our shared transfers as well as our private transfers.

How Do We Recognise The Driver At The Airport?

Our driver will meet you at the designated point in Arrivals and will have a board with your name on it.

When Will Our Driver Meet Us?

Your driver will be at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes after you land unless otherwise organised or if a shared transfer is booked.

Can We Stop To Get Some Water?

No need all our vehicles carry a supply of bottled water which is free of charge.

Do I Need A Child Seat For My Children?

No as we supply baby/child seat/booster seats free of charge – however they must be booked in advance as we do not carry them in the minibus.

Is There Space For A Pushchair?

Should not be a problem if it is a small foldable type, however it depends on the number of passengers, luggage and skis that you are bringing.   Please ask us in advance and we will advise.

Will We Make It To Resort If There Is Snow On The Roads?

All our vehicles have new snow tyres fitted every year as well as carry snow chains if the conditions are neccessary to use them.

How Do I Pay For The Booking?

Our online booking system allows you to pay via credit card with no surcharge.

When Do I Pay And Do I Have To Pay The Full Amount?

For busy dates such as the Christmas holidays, Half Term or weekends we recommend paying a deposit asap to secure your booking.   Availability during this time is limited.   A deposit is 50% and the balance will be due 21 days prior to arrival.
